No fewer than 15 persons have been reportedly killed and eight others injured in Gonan Rogo village of Kajuru Local Government Area of Kaduna State in the latest attack which occurred in the early hours of Tuesday.
Commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Samuel Aruwan, said the injured are receiving medical attention at Saint Gerrard and Barau Dikko Hospitals.
Aruwan who was at the hospitals to visit the victims of the attack said people should not take laws into their hands. In recent times, Kajuru Local Government Area has come under severe attacks by bandits.

The Commissioner also cleared the air over the faceoff between bandits and the Nigerian Air Force that led to the destruction of the Assemblies of God’s Church in Chikun Local Government Area of the State.
This attack is coming at a time when the State Government is battling with the Coronavirus pandemic.
