Two bodies have been recovered from the debris of a gas explosion which occurred at Afariogun Street in Ajao Estate of Lagos, South-West Nigeria on Tuesday night.
Preliminary investigations reveal that the explosion originated from a shop occupied by a gas refilling business. A total of 9 shops were affected by the inferno.

The fire has been extinguished by the combined efforts of LRU fire and Lagos State Fire Service. Director-General, Lagos State Emergency Management Agency, LASEMA, Olufemi Oke-Osanyitolu who confirmed the incident said recovery and retrieval is still ongoing at the scene of the incident.
