The Peoples Democratic Party in Gombe state has accused the All Progressive Congress of promoting a campaign of intimidation and thuggery ahead of the general election.
Leader of the party in the state and former governor Ibrahim Dankwambo says the governing All Progressive Congress in the state has failed to actualize the promises it made to the people and has opted for acts of youth thuggery and restiveness to intimidate voters.

Dankwambo, who addressed residents in the five wards of Balanga local government area said a PDP government led by Atiku Abubakar will restore hope to people living in rural areas.
This interaction is first by the party with the people since it lost the elections in 2019 in which the party acknowledged mistakes were made and promised to deliver on all promises made.
Members of the communities shared their experiences and difficulties faced and called for urgent intervention
The Dankwambo-led team said interaction with members of the public at the ward level will be more regular as the elections draw closer
