The Resident Electoral Commissioner, REC, of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Kebbi State, Ahmed Mahmud, says that there are 3,738 Polling Units where election will hold this Year 2023.
Ahmed Mahmud said this at a press conference in Birnin kebbi.
The REC also said that the collection of Permanent Voter Cards, PVCs has come to an end with the number of registered voters standing at 2,032,041 with Polling Units at 3,743.
Mahmud says that uncollected PVCs in the state are 71,013.
He added that the commission has recruited 15,850 Ad-hoc staff for the exercise.

Mahmud said the delivery of non-sensitive materials to the 21 local government areas was virtually completed, and that the Sensitive Materials arrived at the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN Kebbi for distribution on the eve of the election.
Kebbi Resident Electoral Commissioner maintained that already, foreign and local observers have been screened and listed to participate.
A Situation Room for Monitoring the Conduct of the Election is also in place.
