At least 270 Nigerians stranded in Egypt have been evacuated from Cairo on board an Egypt Air flight for the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, the nation’s capital.
As stated on the Twitter handle of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, NIDCOM, the flight is expected to land in Abuja around 6:00pm local time on Friday.
All evacuees are reported to have tested negative for Covid-19 before departure.
