39 evacuees from Ghana with 12 from other West African countries are now in Badagry, Lagos State and have begun their 14-day compulsory isolation.
The Nigerians in Diaspora Commision, NIDCOM in a tweet says the returnees who were brought in 2 luxurious buses with registration numbers, Lagos LSD 614 YR and KTU 833 XY arrived at about 3:30 a.m. from Ghana and the other West African countries.
It also added that the 14-day quarantine expenses were paid by the Lagos State Government.
In another development, the tweet says:
“3 of the returnees recently evacuated from Dubai, the United Arab Emirates, UAE have tested positive for Covid-19 infection following the test conducted on them.”
Those affected have been admitted at the care centre for appropriate treatment protocols.
