National chairmen of 45 registered political parties in Nigeria under the aegis of The equity group say the 12years jail term of the former Abia state governor, Orji Uzor Kalu have no connection with the Igbo 2023 presidency.
Speaking to the media in Abuja, the national chairmen agree that the southeast leaders will not perceive such judicial action as a witch-hunting by President Muhammadu Buhari to destabilise the southeast ambition for the office of the executive.
They say there are wider consultations going on presently to bring all the 6 geo-political zones together to make a decision that will benefit the southeast for the 2023 presidential desire.
The parties include the African Democratic Congress, People Le Democratic Movement, and the African Development Party.
