Kano state governor Abdullahi Ganduje says the state has been able to solve the problem of farmers-herders clash by preventing the migration of herdsmen from kano to other parts of the Country.
briefing state house correspondents on Friday when he led a delegation from Kano State on a visit to President Muhammad Buhari at the Presidential villa in Abuja shortly before the President departed for a 5-day trip to Addis Ababa Ethiopia, Governor Ganduje said his administration will continue to prioritise the issue of security of lives and properties in the state.

He added that the delegation was also at the villa to inform the president of the state’s new education policy, particularly as it concerns out of school children.

On the current feud between the state government and the emir of Kano Governor Ganduje however hinted that efforts are on to settle the matter amicably and constitutionally.
