The President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Zainab Bulkachuwa, today inaugurates the new division of the court in Kano, North-West Nigeria.
Before now, Kano State was under the jurisdiction of the Appeal Court in Kaduna.
Justice Bulkachuwa, who is on a valedictory tour of the Appeal Court across the country, also inaugurated new divisions in Delta and Anambra States.

She will also inaugurate more new divisions across the country including in her home state of Gombe before retiring from the bench on March 6
