Suspected herdsmen have invaded the Aloko community in the headquarters of the Oganenigu ward in the Dekina Local Government Area of Kogi State, North-Central Nigeria. the attack is coming after Thursday’s invasion of Edede community where 10 people were reportedly killed and several houses burnt.
An eyewitness in the community says residents scampered for safety this Sunday morning following the fresh attack on their community.

Kogi State security adviser, Jerry Omodara who confirmed the latest attack condemned it saying heavy security deployment has been dispatched to the area after Thursday’s attack.
