President Muhammadu Buhari has promised to work with the Bayelsa State Government to ensure that peace and security reigns in the State.
In a chat with State House correspondents after a meeting with President Buhari on Tuesday, Bayelsa State Governor Douye Diri said he was delighted with the President’s pledge.

While noting that he was warmly received by the President, Senator Diri explained that he was visiting President Buhari for the first time since becoming Governor of Bayelsa State.
He said the primary reason for his visit was to solicit the assistance of the Federal Government over rising insecurity in the State.
