Not fewer than 190 Almajiri boys and their Islamic teacher have arrived Bauchi from Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.
This follows the decision of the Northern Governors Forum to take off the Almajiri boys from the streets to curb the spread of Coronavirus.
The boys were received at the General Hassan Usman Katsina Unity School by the Bauchi State Deputy Governor, Baba Tela who said the State is expecting more Almajiri children from other states.
He says those in Bauchi State will from Monday also be dispatched to their states of origin.
The children are presently camping at the unity school where they will be observe and attended to by health professionals from the Ministry of Health proceeding to meet their families.
