The All Progressives Congress, (APC), on the Plateau, has accused the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, of activities aimed at bringing the integrity of the judiciary into disrepute.

Addressing newsmen in Jos, the APC explained that the PDP has so many court cases hanging over their heads, which is why it embarked on alleged blackmail of the Judiciary.

The PDP describes the accusations as an act of desperation.

The drama within the Plateau political space between the two major parties since after the 2023 General Elections has continued and this time, with the APC taking a swipe at the PDP, accusing them of deceiving itself and the general public, that it has no court case when many cases are hanging on its head, hence the disrespect to valid court orders.

The Plateau APC has also alleged that the PDP has engaged in activities aimed at bringing the integrity of the judiciary into disrepute.

Although the PDP has since faired back, through its spokesman, John Akans, describing the APC’s actions as an act of desperation and of the last kick of a dying man.

The coming days will no doubt be interesting, considering the accusations and counter-accusations between the two major political parties in the state.
