Delta State Governor Rt. Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has assured that his administration would continue funding ongoing projects across the state initiated by his predecessor Senator Ifeanyi Okowa to ensure prompt completion.
Oborevwori who gave the assurance during interview session with journalists after inspection of the Sector A and Sector C of the Ughelli-Asaba road dualisation project urged the contractor to put in more efforts to ensure early completion of the project which according to him was very dear to Deltans.

According to the Governor, the Project domiciled in Isoko nation and the first inspection he embarked upon after assumption of office aside being his usual route, need to be completed as soon as possible in line with his campaign promises
The contractor handling the Sector C of the Ughelli-Asaba road dualisation project promised to deliver part of the project before the year runs out while the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Works who conducted the governor round the project said efforts are being put it place to beat the deadline
