Nigerians irrespective of political party affiliation, religion or tribe, have been urged to always pray for their leaders to succeed, rather than engage in insulting and cursing them.

The Chairman of the Katsina State All Progressives Congress, APC, Stakeholders Committee and former Military Governor of Borno State, Colonel Abdulmuminu Aminu made the call, as plans are ongoing to honour former Governor Aminu Masari, as well as organize prayers for Dikko Radda to succeed.

The stakeholders consist of past government officials, academicians, political associates, and friends of the former Governor, Aminu Masari, among others, are coming together under the umbrella of the All Progressives Congress Stakeholders Committee.

According to the chairman of the committee and former Military Governor of Borno State, Colonel Abdulmuminu Aminu, the essence of coming together is to honour Masari and pray for the current Governor, Dikko Radda to succeed.

He explained that what is lacking among Nigerians, is that they curse and abuse leaders.

Aminu further added that Masari demonstrated good leadership skills by uniting all aggrieved party members, and urged Radda to emulate him.

The committee also stressed that it will always advise the government of the day where necessary, so as not to disappoint the people.

They proposed June 17 for the activities, to show and convince Nigerians to always pray and support their leaders.
