Ahead of the inauguration of the 10th National Assembly, Vice President, Senator Kashim Shettima on Saturday told the Senators-elect that the stability of the Federal Republic of Nigeria is far more important than the stability of their pockets.
The Vice President made this known during the valedictory plenary in the upper chamber, urging senators-elect to vote wisely on Tuesday, June 13th, during the election of principal officers of the 10th Legislature.

Senator Shettima says the chamber will forever be memories of lives touched by the laws and decisions made by the senators.
He called on those who will continue in the next Assembly to be bound by the ideals of democracy.
He promised that the new administration will work to renew hope for the citizens.
