In a statement by the spokesman of the police, Assistant Superintendent Abubakar-Sadiq Aliyu, the operation was led by the Command’s Office in-Charge of Anti-kidnapping Unit and his counterpart from the State Intelligence Bureau.
They succeeded in raiding and dislodging several suspected terrorist camps.

He added that the areas are Marake, Garin Yara, and Garin Labo villages, all of Batsari Local Government Area, and the camp of one Audu Lankai, who is a suspected terrorists leader operating in the Jibiya Local Government Areas and its environs.
