Taraba State Government has condemned in strong terms the spill of the Tiv-Jukun crisis from the Southern Senatorial District to the Central Senatorial District of the State. The Deputy Governor, Haruna Manu however says, Government will not relent in its peace effort to bring an end to the conflict.
Manu at a media briefing in Jalingo, the state capital confirmed that Mai-Goge and Tunga villages in Kurmi Local Government Area of the State were on Saturday attacked by militia men. The new attack is coming on the heels of the murder of a pastor and his wife in Donga Local Government Area of the State.

He charged security agencies to rise to the occasion by taking preemptive measures against such attacks. An unconfirmed number of persons have been reported death in the recent attack on 2 communities in Central Senatorial District of the State.
