The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has announced 389 new infections in 23 states with the total number of confirmed cases in the country now 12,233.
The breakdown of the 389 new infections shows that Lagos has 66, FCT-50, Delta-32, Oyo-31, Borno-26, Rivers-24, Edo and
Ebonyi-23 each; Anambra and Gombe-17 each; Nasarawa-14.
Others are in Imo, Kano and Sokoto-12 each ; Jigawa-8; Ogun-7; Bauchi-5; Kebbi, Kaduna, Katsina and Ondo-2 each, Abia and Niger-1 each.
Meanwhile, 130 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across treatment centres in Nigeria with the total now at 3,826.

There are also 9 new Covid-19 fatalities with the death toll at 342.
