Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu

The Ondo State Government has debunked a report credited to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Senator Abdullahi Adamu, claiming that Governor Akeredolu is in a state of extreme incapacitation.

Ondo state Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Bamidele Ademola-Olateju in a statement describes the report as mischievous, wicked, and insensitive narrative being sponsored by desperate politicians.

The statement said the Chairman of the APC in Ondo State, Ade Adetimehin, who attended the meeting, has since debunked the report as untrue and totally dissociated himself from the statement of the Chairman.

According to Adetimehin, the National Chairman was indeed excited at the reports on how Governor Akeredolu was fast recovering and urged all those present at the meeting to pray for his quick return.

The statement further emphasised that Governor Akeredolu is not incapacitated, adding that he will return to his duty as soon as the doctors certify him fully fit to do so.
