Nigeria will not fight Ghana Over Demolition – Presidency

The Presidency says Nigeria will not engage Ghana in a fight over the demolition of some apartments under construction in the Nigerian High Commission in Ghana’s capital, Accra.

President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana had called President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday, to tender apologies for the demolition of a building on the premises of Nigerian High Commission in Accra, Ghana.

Akufo-Addo had informed President Buhari that he has directed full scale investigation into the incident.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, in an interview with State House Correspondents, said both leaders will resolve the issue diplomatically
