The Presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi, says it is time for Nigerians to care for their fellow countrymen who are going through tough times, especially those who have been displaced by one form of Crisis or another.
Obi stated this when he visited Victims of recent attacks and killings at the internally displaced persons Camp in Mangu, Plateau State.

It was his 62nd birthday, and Presidential candidate of the labour party Peter decided to mark the day with an unusual visit to the internally displaced persons camp in Mangu, Plateau State.
His first port of call was the Government house, where he sympathized with the Government and people of the state Over the continued attacks and killings.
Plateau State Governor Caleb Mutfwang, thanked Mr Obi for his support to the state at this time of difficulty, assuring him him that the state will in no time return to its position as home of peace and tourism.
Obi, who was in the company of the National Chairman of the Party, Julius Abure, and other Party chieftains, proceeded to Mangu, where he met with the Paramount Ruler of the Mwaghavul People and made a donation of 5 million Naira before moving to the IDP Camp.
This visit by the Presidential candidate of the Labor Party to the IDP camp in Mangu has no doubt brought a renewed hope for the victims, who are eager to return home and continue with their means of livelihood, which is farming.
