The Bishop of Shandam, Most Rev. Philip Dung has appealed to Nigerian leaders not to forget the People especially those at the Rural areas considering the hardship in the country.
He gave the charge at the One year memorial service of Late Parker Mensen, Son of Appeal Court President, Justice Monica Mensen where Governor, Mutfwang, Makinde and Former Governor Wike and others extolled the virtues of the deceased.
Dignitaries from all works of life gathered here at St. Peters Clever Church, Shendam, which includes Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, that of Benue and Ogun Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, Dapo Abiodun and former Governor Wike amongst others.
They are here in memory of late Parker Dongban, son of the President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem.

The Bishop of Shendam, Most Rev. Philip Dung who prayed for the repose of the soul of the late Parker, appealed to Nigerian leaders not to abandon the people.
Governor Caleb Mutfwang and his Oyo State Counterpart Sheyi Makinde who spoke on behalf of the Governors forum and Former Governor Wike, all extolled the virtues of late Parker.
A Multi-purpose hall built in memory of the late Parker was commissioned by the Director General, Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency Bashir Jimoh along with Governor Mutfwang and other dignitaries.
