Data released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC shows that 395 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across the country in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases to 9,402.
There are 566 new Covid-19 cases recorded in 20 states with confirmed cases nationwide now 25,133. The breakdown of the new infections shows that Lagos has 166; Oyo-66; Delta-53; Ebonyi-43; Plateau-34; Ondo-32; FCT-26; Ogun-25 and Edo-24.
The others include Imo-15; Bayelsa-13; Benue-12; Gombe, Kano and Kaduna-11 each; Osun-8; Nasarawa-7; Borno-5; Katsina and Anambra-2 each.
Meanwhile, there are 8 new Covid-19 fatalities reported in Nigeria with the death toll in the country put at 573.
