The Abia State Government has inaugurated the Ohuhu Vigilante Services in Umuahia North Local Council Area of the state.

It is in the effort to reduce the rate of crime through community policing.

The Commissioner for Homeland Security, Dan Okoli, who inaugurated the group at the Palace of Eze Nnamdi Ofoegbu in Umudiawa Community, advised the security men not to take the laws into their hands, but work with the Police.

He asked the men to help fish out perpetrators of drug abuse among the youths, which he said, promotes crime.
