Three members of the Ondo State House of Assembly, including the Deputy Speaker, Iroju Ogundeji, have been suspended indefinitely. The others are Adewale Williams representing Ondo West State Constituency and Favour Tomomewo from Ilaje State Constituency II.
Their suspension followed a rowdy session on the floor of the Assembly held on Wednesday.
The Speaker, Bamidele Oleyelogun, who announced the suspension of the three lawmakers, said they violated the Assembly Rules and that a panel will be set up to investigate their alleged actions.
ait.live gathered that Speaker Oleyelogun had earlier verbally informed Williams of his suspension before the commencement of the plenary session which suggests that the decision was premeditated.

The suspended Deputy Speaker and the other two members while speaking to reporters said the action can not stand.
The three suspended lawmakers are among the nine opposed to the impeachment notice moved against the embattled Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi.
