Twelve directors of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have been reportedly suspended ftom office.
The notice of suspension was said to have been communicated to the Acting Chairman of the Commission, Mohammed Umar, on Tuesday by the Office of the Attorney-General of the Federation.

The action was said to be in connection with the ongoing investigation of the suspended Acting Chairman of the agency, Ibrahim Magu.
Sources said the panel probing the activities of the anti-graft agency made a request for their suspension to enable it have free access to vital documents and to carry out an unimpeded investigation.
