The Appeal Committee of the All Progressives Congress, APC has cleared all 12 aspirants who picked the Party’s nomination form for the July 20, 2020, Ondo State Governorship primary election.
Among those cleared are incumbent Governor Rotimi Akeredolu and former PDP National Legal Adviser, Olusola Oke.

The APC Deputy National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena in a statement says the names are contained in a report submitted to the Governor Mai Mala Buni led APC Caretaker and Extra-Ordinary National Convention Planning Committee.
The contentious mode for the Primary Election, however, remains unresolved as the party remains silent on the matter though it had submitted the Indirect primary as the preferred mode for the Ondo Governorship election to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.
