Akwa Ibom state Governor, Umo Eno has ordered the immediate construction of a model healthcare facility in Ikot Nkwo located at Ibesikpo Asutan Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom state, South South Nigeria.
The Governor gave the directive while on a tour of a health post in the community.

For the people of Ikot Nkwo in Ibesikpo Asutan LGA of Akwa Ibom state, an age long dream of access to quality health care is about to come to reality after the unprecedented visit of the Governor of the State, Umo Eno to the community.
Governor Eno was taken aback to discover that the health post shared accommodation with the village council and ordered the construction of a new facility immediately.
The Governor appreciated the community for donating land to build the facility and for their self help efforts.
Chairman of the Local Government Council, Akon Asuquo was thankful for the Governor’s visit and intervention.
The effort of the Health Officer -in- Charge of the post , Peace Effiong did not go unnoticed as the Governor commended her commitment to serve humanity by utilizing the make shift facility to render healthcare services to the community.
