APC fills vacant positions in NWC

The All Progressives Congress has officially filled the vacant positions in the National Working Committee of the party.

The National Secretary of the Party, Ajibola Basiru, says the vacancies were occasioned by the resignation of some members and the death of the National Welfare Secretary.

Those elected are the Deputy National Chairman, North, Bukar Dalori, (Borno, North East); Garba Datti Ahmed, National Vice Chairman North West (Kaduna); and Professor Abdul Karim Abubakar Kana as National Legal Adviser ( North Central, Nasarawa).

Others are Duro Meseko, Deputy National Publicity Secretary (North Central, Kogi), Donatus Nwankpa, National Welfare Secretary (South East, Abia), Mary Alile Idele, National Women Leader (South South, Edo), and Zonal Organising Secretary North Central, Ikani Shuaibu Okolo (Kogi State).

The National Executive Committee, (NEC) had empowered the NWC to fill the existing vacancies. Basiru also explained that the party is ready to take on other parties in the upcoming governorship elections in Kogi, Imo, and Bayelsa States, scheduled for November 11.
