The suspended Acting Chairman of the economic and financial crimes commission, EFCC Ibrahim Magu has been asked to submit all his defence after witnesses had been interrogated to enable the Presidential Investigation Committee confront him with the outcome.
This was communicated to Magu through his counsel , Wahab Shittu on Friday after several hours of waiting for the presidential probe panel led by justice Ayo Salami to attend to them to enable Magu enter his defence on various allegations of professional misconduct levelled against him.
According to the panel , Magu is expected to participate fully in the proceedings with his counsel .

The former Nigeria anti corruption chief was alleged to have diverted billions of naira from recovered funds, as well as the interests accruing from the funds but in response denied vehemently and unequivocally that suspects sought ways to bribe him or other EFCC investigators as alleged by the AGF.
Ibrahim Magu was detained and released on the 15th of July 2020 after spending almost 10 days in police custody.
