The governor of Edo state and candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in the September 19 Governorship election, Godwin Obaseki has promised to deal decisively with those sponsoring violence in the state no matter how highly placed they are as his primary responsibility as the Chief security officer of the state is to maintain law and order

The Governor spoke during a meeting with the leadership and members of PDP in the state Ahead of his campaign tour to the 18 local government areas in the state.
