The Lagos State Commissioner For Health Professor Akin Abayomi has tested positive for Coronavirus.
The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbenga Omotesho who confirmed it on his Twitter handle said Abayomi became aware of his status after the required testing protocol of contact tracing procedures.
The Commissioner is said to be doing well with no symptoms and currently self isolating in his home.

He will, however, continue to discharge his duties both as the Deputy Incident Commander of the Incident Command System for COVID-19 and as the Commissioner for Health.
