Nigeria discharges 218 Covid-19 patients in 24 hours

Data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC shows that 218 Covid-19 patients recovered from the infection across Nigeria in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases in the country so far to 43,231.

There are 155 new Covid-19 infections reported in 16 states with the total number of confirmed cases in Nigeria now 55,160.

Lagos has 42 new Covid-19 cases; Plateau-25; Rivers-16; Ebonyi-10; Abia, Ogun and FCT-9 each; Osun-7; Katsina and Kaduna-6 each; Ekiti and Taraba-4 each; Edo-3; Anambra and Akwa Ibom-2 each; Kano-1.

Nigeria’s Covid-19 deaths toll has risen to 1,061 following 4 new fatalities reported across the country in the last 24 hours.
