The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has released new figures for the national response to Covid-19 with 199 patients discharged from treatment centres across the country in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases in Nigeria to 41,513.
The NCDC data shows that 14 states have recorded 138 new Covid-19 infections with Nigeria now having 53,865 confirmed cases since the index case was recorded on February 27.

Out of the 14 states with new Covid-19 infections, Plateau has 55; Lagos-15; Ebonyi and Oyo-11; Abia-8; Anambra, FCT and Rivers-7 each; Kaduna-6; Ondo-5; Kwara-3; Bauchi, Benue and Edo-1 case each.
There are 2 persons who died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll now put at
1,013 across 36 states and Federal Capital Territory Abuja.
