Revolution Now

The Revolution Now group has moved its protest to a rural area in Bako, Gwagwalada, Abuja to avoid harassment by security operatives as it condemns the Federal Government for allegedly criminalising protests in Nigeria.

Speaking to reporters, the protesters said the ban on citizens to express their views through such action is undemocratic and poses danger to the development of the nation.

They kicked against the hikes in fuel pump price and electricity tariff and blamed the Federal Government for the untold hardship citizens are experiencing.
They also urged Nigerians not to relent in speaking up against bad policies.

The group wants the international community to add names of top officers in security operations who joined desperate politicians to disrupt the electoral process as well as destabilising the nation’s democracy.
