CSO Calls For Prosecution Of IPAC Chairman Over alleged forgery Of Death Certificate

A civil society organisation, Guardian of democracy and development initiative, has called for the prosecution of the national chairman of the Inter Party Advisory Council, IPAC and national chairman of Action Democratic party, Yusuf Yabagi-Sani over his alleged forgery of death certificate to replace candidate during the 2023 general election.

The group made the call at a briefing in Abuja on the alleged replacement of Musa Ali from Kano state as candidate of Action Democratic party in the 2023 house of representatives election.

The affidavit claimed that Musa Ali was dead, an allegation the ADP chairman denied.

While presenting Musa Ali to the journalists at the briefing,The civil society group described the allegation as sham, wicked and called for immediate impeachment of Yabagi-Sani as chairman of inter party advisory Council, IPAC

While he affirmed the replacement of Musa Ali as candidate in the 2023 general election, Yabagi-Sani denied signing the document to INEC, saying that a member of the party forged his signature while he was away from the country.

The allegation is coming few hours to election of new officers of the Inter Party Advisory Council IPAC scheduled for Monday 18, 2023.
