Governor Sim Fubara of Rivers state

Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara has thanked the people of the state for the enormous support he has enjoyed, especially since his political ordeal began, saying that he will never take their love and support for granted.

Speaking a day after he entered a peace agreement brokered by President Bola Tinubu, with his immediate predecessor and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, Governor Fubara said he will do whatever it takes for peace to continue to rein in the state.
