The Benue State Governor, Samuel Ortom, has received the 2019 Courage in Leadership Award from the Sun Publishing Limited.
Ortom, who was presented the award in Abuja, the nation’s capital, dedicated it to Benue people who stood by him to make sure he delivers on the mandate they overwhelmingly gave him.
The award, is an honour the State’s members of the House of Representatives and other top government functionaries in attendance said is well deserved.
Celebrities of Benue extraction such as Innocent Idibia popularly known as Tuface and Zaaki Azaay were also present to support their very own.

The award presentation which was slated for May was postponed due to the global coronavirus pandemic.
