A group known as Yoruba Regional Alliance for Self Determination Across the World has described the establishment of a Nomad Vigilante group by Miyetti Allah Kautal Hore in Nasarawa state in North Central Nigeria as a potential invitation to anarchy.
The group said this at a press conference in Ibadan, the Oyo state capital, where they called on the Federal government to look into the issue.
They further, called on the initiators of the concept to have an immediate rethink, warning against any idea that would warrant deployment of such vigilante groups to the Southwest.
The group also used the event to renew calls for government to rejig the nation’s security architecture with a view to effectively combating the rising cases of insecurity across the country.
