Osun State Government says it will give adequate support to the Police towards unravelling the circumstances behind the killing of an American Professor and a prominent son of Ejigbo, Doctor Richard Idowu.
The State Government’s delegation led by the Commissioner for information, Kolapo Alimi and his counterpart from Local Government and Chieftaincy matters, Dosu Babatunde stated this in Ejigbo during a condolence visit to the Community.
The killer of Doctor Richard Idowu was also reportedly killed by the Police attached to the victim, less than five hundred metres away from the scene, while trying to escape.

The State commissioner for information Kolapo Alimi described the incident as unfortunate.
The State police Command has already confirmed the arest of one person in relation to the incident.
