The Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State, CP Muhammad Dalijam, has handed over a cheque of one hundred and thirty-four million, five hundred and fifty thousand, eight hundred and twenty-four Naira to the families of its deceased personnel.
CP Dalijam, who presented the cheques to the twenty-five families of police personnel, advised them to make wise use of the money.

The families of deceased police personnel in Zamfara State received cheques ranging from three million to five hundred thousand, with the least receiving one hundred and thirty-two thousand Naira.

CP Muhammad Dalijam, who presented the cheques to the twenty-five beneficiaries on behalf of the Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun, applauded the efforts of the IGP in ensuring the welfare of police personnel, both serving and deceased.

Some of the beneficiaries who spoke on behalf of the others thanked the IGP and the Commissioner of Police in Zamfara State for the gesture, and promised to make good use of the money, to improve the welfare of their families.

The cheques were presented to the families of the personnel under the Group Life Assurance, Personal Accident, and the IGP Welfare Schemes, to reduce their plights.
