The Ebonyi State Governor, Francis Nwifuru says his administration is working hard to reposition key sectors of government, urging political appointees to sit up to their duties.
Governor Nwifuru was speaking on Monday during the swearing in of new set of political appointees at the Government House, Abakaliki, the Ebonyi State capital.
Nwifuru specifically charged members of the Ebonyi State Scholarship Board to be meticulous in the screening and selection of beneficiaries of the 300 Post graduate scholarship positions, which forms the first batch of the scheme.
Governor Nwifuru assured scholars under the State scholarship scheme, of automatic employment by the State government upon completion of their programs and return to the country.
The Governor wants the various Boards of Agencies and parastatals to shore up their revenue generation base for government to meet its obligations to the people.
