A federal high court in Kano has sentenced a 45-year-old-man, Muhammad Adamu to 15 years imprisonment for human trafficking.

The trial judge Justice Obiorah Egwaatu averred that sections 26 and 29 of the trafficking in person ( prohibition) act 2015 made the offense punishable with minimum of sentence of 5 years.
