The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC has reported 418 new Covid-19 infections in the country in the last 24 hours from 17 states. The total number of confirmed Covid-19 cases is now 73,175.
Lagos has 113 new Covid-19 cases; FCT-86; Abia-47; Kaduna-39; Rivers-27; Katsina-22; Benue-14; Oyo-13 and Kano-12.

Enugu has 8 new Covid-19 cases; Edo and Imo-7 each; Bauchi, Ebonyi and Ogun-6; Ondo-4 and Nasarawa-1.
There are 249 Covid-19 patients discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the total number of successfully treated cases rising to
confirmed 66,090.
NCDC data show that 3 more persons have died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria in the last 24 hours with the national death toll put at 1,197.
