Kano Governor, Abdullahi Ganduje says the Local Government election in the State is peaceful and acceptable statewide.

The Governor said this immediately after casting his vote at Ganduje Polling Unit in Ganduje Primary School in Dawakin Tofa Local Government Area. Ganduje expressed optimism that the All Progressives Congress, APC will win the election across the 44 Local Government Areas of the State.
There are however reports of voter apathy in most parts of the State despite the restriction of movement for registered voters to exercise their franchise.
