Omo Ghetto’ “The Saga” Breaks Nollywood box office record with N500m revenue

Funke Akindele-Bello and JJC Skillz’ ‘Omo Ghetto (The Saga)’ is now the highest grossing Nollywood movie of all time.

According to a report by Cinema Exhibitors Association of Nigeria (CEAN), the blockbuster movie which has maintained the number one spot for six weeks in a row, has broken Nollywood’s box office record with a cumulative revenue of over 500 million naira.

Released on Christmas Day 2020, the movie which is the third installment in the ‘Omo Ghetto’ trilogy, follows the story of Shalewa aka Lefty (Funke Akindele).
