21 mobile courts set up to try violators of facemask use order in Kano

The Chief Judge of Kano State, Justice Nura Sagir, has inaugurated 21 mobile courts to sanction violators of Covid-19 protocols in the state.

Governor Abdullahi Ganduje on Sunday inaugurated 2000 Covid-19 marshals to enforce the use of facemasks

Justice Sagir charged the courts to be just, fair but firm with any case brought before it.

The information was contained in a statement signed by a spokesman for the Kano State judiciary Baba Jibo which gave no further details on the mobile courts.

Violators of the facemask use order risk a fine of 20000(Twenty thousand naira) or 6 months imprisonment.
