A 60-year-old man, Bashiru Akinlotan, was allegedly killed on his farm in the Igangan area of Igboora, Oyo state by unknown assailants, and his 12 acres of cocoa plantation set ablaze.
According to a release by Amotekun commandant in Oyo state, Col Olayinka Olayanju (Rtd), the corpse was discovered around 5:30 pm on Wednesday evening in his farm in Apodun Igangan road.

He said the cause of his death could not be immediately ascertained as the perpetrators had fled the scene but what gave the insight to the killing is the burning of the 12 acres of cocoa plantation with the lifeless body found very close to the burnt farm.
