Nollywood Tragedy : Akwa Ibom Gov. Wants Body Of late makeup Artiste Brought Home

Akwa Ibom state Governor, Umo Eno has expressed deep sadness at the boat mishap which claimed the lives of some Nollywood artistes, particularly that of 24 year old female Akwa Ibom born make up artiste , Abigail Frederick , and has directed her body to be brought back home to her family for proper burial.

According to a statement by Governor Eno’s Chief Press Secretary, Ekerete Udo , the Government was not informed of the circumstances that led to her burial and will never allow the family to be alone at such a trying period , hence the directive to bring back her corpse to her family for burial.

The University of Uyo graduate of Theatre Arts, died along with popular actor Junior Pope and three other members of the production crew when the boat they were traveling in collided with another boat and capsized along Anam river, Anambra state while heading to a location to shoot a movie.
